Course Descriptions FBLA
Seton's Business Technology Department offers an all-inclusive curriculum which allows students to overlap their college preparatory and business subjects. The Department has emerged as a leader in specialized technology courses, provides the student business career training through our co-op program, and also offers a college articulation agreement with Cincinnati State. This program offers our students the ability to earn a maximum of 21 quarter hours or 14 semester hours. Lastly, our students are presented the opportunity to belong to Future Business Leaders of America/Phi Beta Lambda, which is a co-ed national organization that prepares students for careers in business and business-related fields.
Linda Huelsman Ms. Huelsman is the chair of the Business Technology Department, teaches a wide-range of business technology subjects, and is the advisor for the Junior and Senior Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America. She started her teaching career at Seton in 1971. Likewise, she is also an adjunct teacher for Cincinnati State & Technical College. Ms. Huelsman attended Seton High School and received associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees from the University of Cincinnati. Her industry training experiences lead her to work for P & G in the Accounting Division. Ms. Huelsman is a member of Delta Pi Epsilon, Ohio Business Teacher’s Association, and also serves on the Financial Advisory Committee “Power of the Purse.” Lastly, she has won awards for her dedication and outstanding leadership in the field of Business Education.
Suzanne Rechenberg Mrs. Rechenberg has been teaching at Seton since 1990 and has over 25 years in Catholic education. She attended Regina High School and has an Associate and Bachelor Degree from the University of Cincinnati. Mrs. Rechenberg has also taught in area business schools and for several years in the Community Enrichment Program at Madeira High School. In addition to her teaching duties, she is Senior Class Moderator and assists with the Senior Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America.
