She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Edgecliff College, a Masters degree in counseling from Xavier University, and post graduate course work from Xavier in administration.

Mrs. Fitz has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Dayton.  She also has a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Cincinnati.  Mrs. Fitz is a graduate of Seton, class of 1999.

School Psychologist
Dr. Cordes has extensive background as an administrator and school psychologist and has served area parochial schools for the past four years.  His role includes consultation, evaluation, and problem solving related to educational and psychological concerns.  He received bachelor’s degrees in biology and education and earned a master’s and doctorate in school psychology and educational leadership, all from the University of Cincinnati.  Dr. Cordes currently provides services to St. Cecilia and Prince of Peace elementary schools in addition to Seton.  He is at Seton on Thursdays.

Intervention Specialist
Ms. Utecht has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Religious Studies from the College of Mount St. Joseph.  She also has a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Xavier University and is a Professional Counselor licensed in the State of Ohio.  Ms. Utecht graduated from Seton high school in 1998 and is happy to be back at Seton working with student with special instructional needs.

Speech Pathologist
Mrs. Karen Foland has a Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Butler University in Indianapolis. Her Masters degree is from Miami University. She has worked in this area for the past four years at Mt. Healthy City Schools.
