FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America is a State and National organization for students that are enrolled in business and/or business-related fields.  FBLA is an integral part of the instructional program. 

 

The purpose of FBLA is to:

  • Develop competent, business leadership
  • Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work
  • Create an interest in and understanding of the American enterprise system
  • Develop character
  • Encourage scholarship and promote school loyalty
  • Assist students in the establishment of occupational goals
  • Facilitate the transition from high school to college

 

FBLA members demonstrate a willingness to contribute to good school-community relations, and also possess professional qualities for employment.

To highlight this year's activities--students will participate in a Leadership Conference in October at the Mount, adopt grandparents from Riverview Nursing Home, work in partnership with Tri-County Mall Magical Evening, promote FBLA national goal of funding research for the March of Dimes, and numerous other events.
