National Art Honor Society (NAHS)
All members of the National Art Honor Society exemplify the club's motto of "Art Scholarship, Character and Service". Art teachers choose members from Art 3 and Art 4 students who maintain an A average.
Activities focus on service projects from community murals to face painting at events. Past mural projects include Hillebrand Home Health, Our Daily Bread, Peaslee Neighborhood Center and the Homeless Coalition.
National Latin Honor Society (NLHS)
Membership requirements for the National Latin Honor Society include enrollment in a Latin class at Seton High School (or Elder if course conflict arises), maintaining a 90 average through April 15, completion of extra credit translations (100 word translations from text), completion of daily exercises and assignments and participation in the Classics Fair held during Catholic Schools Week.
All Latin students must take the National Latin exam in March. Following the exam, induction in NLHS and awards based on the Latin exam will be presented on Latin Day. Seniors who were four-year members will receive a maroon and gold cord (the colors of the American Classical League) at the Senior Honors and Awards program during graduation week.
National Honor Society (NHS)
Juniors and seniors who are academically ranked in the top 25 of their class are eligible for membership in the National Honor Society. Members participate in a variety of activities, including coordinating two annual Hoxworth Center blood drives and tutoring students. Each NHS member is required to complete three community service hours every month.
