Summer Mission Trips Begin
A group of Seton Saints left for summer service in Harlan County, Kentucky on June 8.
Opportunities
- AOK (Acts of Kindness) -- Ronald McDonald House
- Adaptive Aquatics -- Swimming with people with disabilities
- Adopt-A-Class -- Roberts Paideia students are adopted by Seton students who correspond with them and do activities together throughout the year.
- Cincinnati Recreation Commission -- activities with people with disabilities
- ESPY Big/Little Sisters -- social events with elementary age girls
- Habitat for Humanity -- building homes
- Kids Cafe -- activities with elementary students at Our Daily Bread
- Little Sisters of the Poor -- Adopt a grandparent at the nursing home
- Math Discovery -- tutoring students in math
- Mother Margaret Hall - adopting a "grandmother" among the Sisters of Charity
- Pilot Dogs -- raising puppies to be guide dogs for the blind
- Our Daily Bread -- serving meals at the soup kitchen
- Price Hill Will -- various activities as needed
- St. Lawrence Homework Club
- St. William Tutoring
- Service Mission Trips
- Appalachian Trip
- Mayerson Summer Program, Cincinnati
- Border Experience/Mexico
- T.A.C.K.L.E. (Cincinnati)
- Tutoring - tutoring students in reading in conjunction with Santa Maria
- Women's Connection -- various projects
- Volunteers of America "Action Team" -- Service opportunities in conjunction with the Cincinnati Reds.
