Marisa Wolf has been named as the new Head Varsity Soccer Coach

 

 

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Seton High School is proud to announce that Marisa Wolf has been named as the new Head Varsity Soccer Coach. Wolf has been the assistant junior varsity coach at Seton since 2016. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she was a four-year varsity soccer player. She was selected to participate in the Wolstein Leadership Academy based on recommendations from other OSU varsity coaches and leadership. As a member of the leadership academy, she developed and nurtured leadership skills necessary for achievements on and off the playing field. Wolf received the Buckeye Power Club Award as a college junior. She attended St. Ursula Academy where she was GGCL Player of the Year her senior year, Enquirer Player of the Year and Coaches Poll Player of the Year, along with 1st Team All-State.

“Marisa was a stand-out candidate who possesses the drive, enthusiasm, leadership and knowledge that we are looking for in a coach,” said Seton High School Athletic Director Wendy Smith. “We are looking forward to her leveraging those qualities and experience into our esteemed soccer program.”

“The potential for the Seton soccer program is on the rise and I cannot wait to see the success of the program in the coming years,” said Wolf. “I am looking forward to working hard with these student athletes on and off the field to help them grow as leaders, mentors and teammates.”
