Honors Program & Scholarship Details

CLASS OF 2023

DUE: NOVEMBER 9, 2018

Students who complete the Application and Admission Process, including submitting the essay response, will be considered for the following scholarships:

This highly competitive Honors Program recognizes students for exceptional academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others.  Candidates will be chosen by a selection committee based on:

  • Academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through the Admissions Scholarship essay response
  • Cumulative average of 85% or higher and no grade below a 78% on a report card
  • Complete the Seton Application/Admission Process (including essay)
  • Score in the top 15% on the HSPT 

Candidates will be chosen by a selection committee based on:

  • Academic achievement, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through the Admissions Scholarship essay response
  • Complete the Seton Application/Admission Process (including essay)
  • Score in the top 25% on the HSPT

The candidate will be chosen from the incoming freshmen by a selection committee based on:

  • Demonstrate good academic standing, Christian leadership and service to others as evident through the Admissions Scholarship essay response
  • Complete the Seton Application/Admission Process including essay

One-year scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen ’23, sophomores ’22, juniors ’21 & seniors ’20 funded through the support of our amazing Alumnae!

Candidates will be chosen by a selection committee based on:

  • School spirit, leadership and service to others as evident through the Admissions Scholarship essay response
  • Does not receive financial aid or other scholarships (verified by Seton)
  • Complete the Seton Application/Admission Process (including essay)

Eighth grade students may be nominated for this scholarship by a grade school teacher or principal:

One-year scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen ’23, sophomores ’22, juniors ’21 and seniors ’20. This scholarship recognizes students who exemplify the true meaning of the Seton Sisterhood, are true supporters of Seton, or show their school spirit with pride. Recipients are nominated by teachers or principals.

                  Criteria:

  • Involvement in school organizations, clubs and/or sports
  • Students working to their ability academically, maintaining no grade lower than a C average
  • Does not receive financial aid or other scholarships (verified by Seton)
  • Complete the Seton Application/Admission Process (Class of 2023)

Current 8th grade students can be nominated by grade school teachers and principals.

Each student applying for scholarships to Seton High School is required to write an essay no more than one page, double spaced, 11 pt Times New Roman font answering this question: 

What does Christian leadership mean to you?

How have you demonstrated Christian leadership in your own life?

(Please be sure your full name is at the top of your essay)

Completed Applications and Essays are due by 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 9
