Savannah Geiger came in 10th out of 129 entries in the Caring For Our Watershed grant competition. Savannah won her idea to change our Styrofoam plates to paper in the cafeteria.
Seton High School Board of Directors has named Kathy Allen Ciarla as the president of the all-girls Catholic high school and Karen Klug White as the principal. Both women are graduates of Seton and former employees and bring a wealth of knowledge in Catholic education and leadership. The appointments begin July 1, 2015.
Students can earn college credit in Economics over the summer through the University of Cincinnati's TL2 program
As some of you may know, Seton is partnering with Price Hill Will to create an Educational Community Garden. The garden will be on a lot right across the street from Seton's main driveway on Beech Street. The Environmental class is currently preparing the lot and getting some observations started on the property.
The Flying Pig is one of the largest "green" events in the country. They generate about 14 tons of trash, but recycle half of it (7 tons). They have won awards for their efforts. In order for them to keep this up, they need volunteers to collect bottles etc.. from runners at the end of the race. Other schools are volunteering in the Flying Pigs green team initiative. The money goes to Eco club which uses the money for Seton's grounds to purchased picnic tables, benches, shrubs, flowers, prizes for contests.
Congratulations! Graduation for your daughter is fast approaching. Can you believe that your daughter's four years at Seton are nearly complete? This letter outlines for you the traditional graduation activities for our seniors.
It is time for the Junior/Senior Prom! The students are in the final stages of planning and in order for everyone to have a safe and enjoyable evening, there are a few things you should know.
