Today is a 3-bell day with a 1:45 assembly.  Tomorrow is a 4-bell.  Wednesday is a testing day for juniors and sophomores; a wellness morning for freshmen and a college visit/career day for seniors.  And Thursday and Friday are 7-bell days.

JVB soccer plays Ross High School at Ross at 6:00

This weekend in athletics:

Seton Varsity Soccer beat Summit 6-2 with goals by Ava Glahn, Millie Cluxton Lexi O’Shea, Samantha Ruff, and Kenzie Carle with 2

The JVA soccer team defeated Summit in a 4-0 shutout with goals by anna jung, maria meade, ella gorzega, and kaitlyn hess. 

JV golf won the GGCL tournament with a 169 they went into two tiebreakers with their 5th and 6th players against Ursula and won by one stroke. 

Seton freshman volleyball team beat Walnut Hills in two sets. First set was 25-9 second 25-14.

Today is a 4-bell day.  This is a reminder that directives for tomorrow will be sent in a separate email.  Juniors and sophomores:  watch for one from the academic advisors; freshmen, yours will come from Mrs. Rowland.

Today in sports:

All three volleyball teams meet St. Henry High School here for the last home game of the season!  Games are at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30.

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, tonight’s game will be a pink out in honor of all members of the Seton community who have been touched by breast cancer.

Results of Saturday’s Cross Country charity event:  Segale gets 1 point; Emmits earns 2; O’Connell gets 3 and Cedar gets 4!  Cedar holds onto the lead with 40 point; now in second place is O’Connell with 38 points; followed by Emmits with 35 and Segale with 26.  C’mon Segale—one or two first place finishes closes that gap!!!!  One person really does make a difference!  The top 3 spots were each 1 person different!

This Saturday’s Cross Country GGCL Championships @ Christs Church in Mason is a charity event!  In order for your sign in to count towards charity points, you must be signed in by 10:15.

The  girls open is at 10:30

The awards ceremony is at 11:00.  After the awards, the team will be going to a nearby park for their senior recognition ceremony!  They would really, really love to see some smiling Seton faces there!  Details to follow later in the week.

We’re going to be doing a little Halloween activity among mentor groups.  MG teachers and mentor group captains please watch for an email later today with directions.  In order for this to work, everyone has to be ready!!!  Thanks!

We have two Saints nominated as Athletes of the Week: Tessa Jones for volleyball and Kenzie Carle for Soccer!

Tessa Jones ’22 had career high of 25 kills, hitting a .478 in Seton’s victory over Springboro. 🏐🏐

Kenzie Carle ’24 had 2 goals and an assist in Seton’s win in over Summit, and scored the lone goal in the 1-1 tie against Milford. ⚽⚽
