Daily Announcements

Today is a     7-bell day. The rest of the week:  Tuesday is a 4-bell day with an extended mentor group; Wednesday is a 3-bell day with a 2:15 dismissal.  Thursday is a 7-bell remote work day for juniors, sophomores and freshmen and senior capstone presentations.  Friday is Spirit Day!  If you volunteered to bring items for spirit day, please bring them in tomorrow or Wednesday.  Thanks!

The Varsity Softball Team beat Walnut hills 14-13 on Thursday last week! Way to go Saints!

This past Thursday, the JV track team finished 3rd out of 15 teams at the Harrison Invitational.  The following Saints finished in the top 3 of their respective events:

Megan Roden finished 3rd in the 100-meter dash

Megan Edrich finished 3rd in the mile

Eabha Delaney, Libby Luebbering, Bella Bass, and Megan Heine finished 2nd in the 4x100-meter relay

Avery Moehring, Rachel Jarvis, Katie Schloemer, and Megan Edrich finished 2nd in the 4x800-meter relay

Abby Kock finished 3rd in the shot put

On Friday, the varsity Saints finished 6th out of 16 teams.  The following Saints also finished in the top 3 of their respective events:

Exsence Walker, Megan Roden, Jess McKeel, and Hailey Autenrieb finished 3rd in the 4x100-meter relay

Jenna Accurso, Jess McKeel, Hailey Autenrieb, and Emma Harmeyer finished 2nd in the 4x200-meter relay

Emma Striebich finished 3rd in the discus and first in the shot put

In winning the shot put Emma Striebich also broke the school record in the event, throwing 39 feet, 3 and a half inches!

This is a reminder that new ambassador applications are due to MR this Thursday.  And since we aren’t here, make sure to get them in early!

For anyone who may be interested in participating in Color Guard through Elder: auditions are scheduled on 4/28 and 4/30 from 6-9 PM in the Elder Wrestling Gym. The season starts in the summer and goes through the fall.  See Mrs. Lind’s email from last Friday for additional information.

SENIORS!!  Please be sure to read the email from Mrs Schwartz regarding Donuts with Dad and submit a favorite picture of you and your dad by tomorrow!!  Any picture is fine from when you were a little girl or more recent.

Attention students who took Art 1st Semester, please see your email from Mrs. Metz from last week about matting for the art show.  All matted work is due to Mrs. Metz by Tuesday, April 27th.  Thank you.

The Varsity Softball team beat Ursula last night with a score of 22-5!!! Their overall record was improved to 6-2!! Go Saints!!

Good luck to the Saints in action tonight!

JV Track and Field will compete at the PAC, and both Softball teams will host Ursuline starting at 4:30.

It’s time to pick up your 2019-2020 yearbooks! If you pre-ordered a yearbook last year, you have until Friday, April 16th to pick it up from Ms. Casteel’s classroom, room 202. Please stop by sometime after school before 4 o’clock.

Mrs. White--scholarships

Today is a 3-bell day with a 2:15 dismissal.  Everyone should report first to MG and then freshmen, sophomores and juniors should follow the schedule on Mrs. Rowland’s email for times to report to the Halo Café.  Seniors will remain in MG.

The jv softball saints beat ursuline last night with a score of 8-2.

JV Softball will take on Badin High School at Joyce Park this afternoon with first pitch scheduled for 5:00. Go Saints!

Our 7-1 Varsity Lacrosse Team and Lacrosse middie Jane Streicher have been nominated as Enquirer Sports Athletes of the Week!

The Seton Lacrosse Team increased its winning streak to six games after topping Anderson 14-3 on April 6 and Ursuline Academy 9-8 in overtime April 8.

Senior Jane Streicher had five goals and four ground balls in Seton’s 14-3 win over Anderson.

The jv softball team beat ursuline on wednesday with a score of 13-0 and walnut hills yesterday with a score of 19-7.

You have until 5:00 today to vote for our Enquirer Athletes of the Week:  Varsity Lacrosse team and senior Lacrosse player Jane Streicher!  Get the link from Maria’s email!

This afternoon, the Track and Field Saints will compete in the Harrison Invitational, and the JV and Varsity Softball teams take on Mercy McAuley, all starting at 4:30.

If you pre-ordered a yearbook last year, you have until 4:00 today to pick it up from Ms. Casteel’s classroom, room 202.
